Training & Placement Cell
Objectives :
- To evolve mechanisms for industrial/ Hospital training, & develop internal standard by conducting Pre-Industrial Training Test before deputation of students for training.
- To make students aware for job requirements & opportunities & to groom their personalities through expert guidance & training to facilitate their placement & thereby attain predetermined Program Educational Objectives.
- To evolve & establish facilities & effective processes & mechanisms for career guidance services including counseling for higher studies. Plan & guide in-house activities as well as hire expert assistance from outside.
- To establish incubation facility for development of entrepreneurship. Explore possibilities for collaborations with agencies to facilitate grooming of the students.
- To prepare & publish literature such as information Brochures, Industrial Training Manuals, Student Database etc to foster the efforts to establish ‘SVPM’ brand of quality students.
- To evolve mechanism for documented process for assessment of student qualities from Industries for evaluation of performance of the cell. Also forward these reports/observations to the Cell for Curriculum, Syllabi, PEO’s and Outcomes Monitoring for their assessment.
- To record the meetings such as issues discussed & actions taken in this regard. Keep these documents to be verified internally as well as externally during various inspections.
