Cell For Scientific Activities
Objectives :
- To promote research & development activities & assist to maintain atmosphere conducive for scientific temper by coordinating the human & material resources.
- To plan & conduct activities to improve quality of research, number of publications, patents (IPR) & technology transfers. For better outputs, the cell may conduct training program, workshops, and guidance sessions of the experts.
- To promote research projects at interdisciplinary & multidisciplinary levels to improve the interaction with outside word & thereby expand the knowledge base of faculty members & students.
- To set the goals/target for consultancy; for number & quality (impact factor) of research publications; funding fetched; for patents & technology transfers.
- Promote the process of interaction for the R & D with a well known institute/ Research Laboratories (State/National or abroad). Also promote such interactions for joint publications of books, technical papers, development of teaching modules etc.
- To record the meetings such as issues discussed & actions taken in this regard. Keep these documents to be verified internally as well as externally during various inspections.
